CLUSTER IT OFFICER
Our cluster IT Officer will report directly to the IT Director and assist the team to maximize the effectiveness of the Information Technology systems across all participating properties to ensure uninterrupted delivery of service. Our Resorts are a 24 hour, 365 day a year operation. Our Cluster IT Officer should be comfortable with the potential for support that is outside of a typical 9am-5pm position.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Provide the first line of support for Operating Systems across multiple properties
- Provide assistance to the IT Director or Manager
- Ensure that Policies and Procedures are being followed at each participating property
- Ensuring that our IT environment is always safe (both physically and logically)
- Provide on the spot training to colleagues regarding IT matters
- Assist in the installation of new computer/communication facilities.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in IT support role
- Familiar with virtualization platforms
- Understanding of networking principles and technology
- Familiar with Mikrotik OS
- Excellent knowledge of common operational software – such as Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Property Management and Point of Sales Systems
